About Me

Paige, a daughter to immigrant parents from the Philippines, moved to London when she was 14 years old. Having moved a lot growing up - parables, music and art were her means of understanding the constantly changing environment and language around her.

In pursuit of understanding the diverse communities including her sense of displacement in the UK, she took up a Bachelor’s in Sociology and later studied for a Master’s in Editing for TV, Film & Digital Media. Her subdued, dreamy, naturalistic mixed with hyper-digital style would later characterise the duality of her works, across factual and narrative. Some of her inspirations include Hong Sang Soo, Sean Baker and Abbas Kiarostami.

Paige currently lives in Manchester, UK where she is in the early stages of writing her original short film.
